Pre-Commissioning

Pre-commissioning refers to all activities such as tests, inspections and any other additional operations that are performed before the construction is completed and after the equipment is installed, in a way that prepares the operational unit for commissioning. The most important pre-launch activities are as follows:

Piping section:

Preliminary cleaning, line control, hydro test and flushing, finalization of lines for commissioning (Reinstatement)

Mechanics section:

Compliance of equipment and installation with design requirements, performing preliminary cleaning, blocking the inlets and outlets of fixed equipment and performing cold tests on rotating equipment, control and testing of tanks

Electrical section:

Insulation test, connection of cables and power tests, control and tests of transformers, batteries and UPSs and panels

Instrumentation section:

Control of installed equipment, performance tests of instrumentation equipment, control and testing of air pipes, control of junction boxes, calibration of equipment, control and testing of cables

Telecommunications section:

Inspection, testing and configuration of equipment and devices, loop checks

Safety section:

Check and test alarm equipment, check installed equipment
